Daily Personnel Accounting with Police Information and Continuing Education (PICE)

As a cadet who underwent Station Immersion in the Sorsogon City Police Station, I have learned about the importance of Daily Personnel Accounting. It is a daily routine that serves to account for the presence and readiness of police personnel to perform their duties.

Daily Personnel Accounting is a critical aspect of police work that ensures that all personnel are accounted for, and are ready and able to respond to any situation that may arise. It provides a snapshot of the availability and readiness of police personnel, allowing for efficient deployment of resources and effective response to any emergency or incident.

As a PNPA Cadet, I have observed that Daily Personnel Accounting is conducted at the beginning of each shift, with each police officer presenting themselves to their immediate supervisor or designated officer-in-charge. During Daily Personnel Accounting, officers are required to report their status, including any sick leave, vacation, or other absences. This allows the station commander to make necessary adjustments to ensure that the station is adequately manned and to address any personnel issues that may arise.
